Sakak, a leading AI and data solutions company, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Inrupt, a pioneer in personal data privacy and storage solutions co-founded by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. The partnership focuses on collaborative research to develop advanced technologies for securely storing and managing personal data.

Under the agreement, both companies will work together to enhance personal data storage by leveraging Inrupt's Solid platform, which allows users to maintain control of their data through personal data stores known as Pods. These Pods enable individuals to decide how and with whom their data is shared, addressing rising concerns over data privacy and regulatory compliance.
"This collaboration reflects our commitment to empowering users with more control over their personal data," said GeonGyu Bae, CEO of Sakak. "Inrupt's Solid platform, combined with Sakak's cutting-edge AI capabilities, will provide a transformative solution for secure data management that is fully compliant with global privacy regulations such as GDPR."
John Bruce, CEO of Inrupt, added, "We are thrilled to partner with Sakak, a company at the forefront of AI innovation, to further develop and deploy technologies that give individuals full control over their personal data. This MOU represents a significant step in reshaping how data is managed and protected in the digital age."
The collaboration will also focus on integrating Inrupt’s Solid platform with Sakak’s AI-driven systems to offer seamless and secure solutions for managing user data in various industries, including healthcare, finance, and government. Both companies expect the research to lead to innovative services that provide transparency and trust for users, while also minimizing data breaches and other security risks.
This partnership is expected to set new standards for secure data management globally, providing solutions that are both user-centric and technically advanced.
