Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. has unveiled the list of startups selected for its Qualcomm AI Program for Innovators (QAIPI) 2025, announced on May 22. Launched earlier this year, QAIPI 2025 is a regional initiative supporting startups and specialized developers across Asia-Pacific—including Korea, Japan, and Singapore—in developing scalable AI applications utilizing Qualcomm’s platform.

A total of 15 outstanding AI innovation companies from Korea, Japan, and Singapore have been selected. These startups will undergo a mentoring phase, culminating in a demonstration day scheduled for later this year, where they will showcase their technological achievements to industry leaders, investors, and potential partners.

Participants will benefit from Qualcomm® AI Hub’s comprehensive resources, including technical support, training, and mentorship, enabling them to build end-to-end AI solutions across mobile, computing, IoT, and other sectors. As demand for energy-efficient, real-time on-device AI grows, the selected startups are expected to develop applications in fields such as smart healthcare, robotics, retail, audio, and mobility.

The five Korean startups selected are MaumAI, MOTOV, Banyaa AI, SAKAK, and SqueezeBits. Over the next six months, these companies will receive tailored mentorship from Qualcomm’s technical experts, access to Qualcomm hardware and developer kits, and financial support — up to $5,000 for activities and another $5,000 for patent filing incentives. They will also have an opportunity to present their AI solutions at the prominent online demo day in Q4, connecting with industry leaders, investors, and potential collaborators.

Kwon Oh-hyung, president of Qualcomm's Asia Pacific region., expressed his enthusiasm: “I am pleased to see the region’s outstanding innovation firsthand through QAIPI. The 15 startups from Korea, Japan, and Singapore demonstrate tremendous potential to lead the future of AI-driven industries. We are excited to support their journey and accelerate the growth of the AI ecosystem across Asia-Pacific.”

Sudipto Roy, Vice President of Qualcomm Engineering and head of the Global Ecosystem Development Program, added, “Qualcomm is committed to fostering innovation and building an AI-based technological ecosystem. Collaborating with talented startups to provide our cutting-edge platforms and mentorship is a privilege. We look forward to opening new horizons beyond on-device AI’s current limits together.”
