The Ministry of SMEs and Startups held the 'Youth Startup Academy Dream Show' on the 15th at Community House Masil in Myeong-dong, Seoul. The event attracted around 300 participants, including companies enrolled in the Youth Startup Academy and key figures from the startup ecosystem.
The Dream Show was designed to share the investment support achievements of companies participating in the Youth Startup Academy and to provide networking and investment opportunities for attendees. The event comprised several segments, including a youth business forum, an investment attraction ceremony, a demo day, expert mentoring and policy-related consultation booths, and networking sessions.
To foster a private-led startup ecosystem, the Ministry has been piloting a 'Private-led Youth Startup Academy' in Daejeon since 2022. This year, they have expanded by establishing three additional private-led academies in Busan, Gyeonggi, and Jeju, and have also introduced dedicated investment operators.
